How much does it cost to go to the Expo?

The EXPO IS FREE.

Please remember this is a one of a kind event. You don’t want to miss it!

Are hotel rooms free?

Hotel room are not free. There will be hotel room blocks at a discounted rate. Please register for the event in order to get an email with all the discounted hotel information through email.

Are there discounted tickets to the park?

Yes, all information is avaialble NOW! You MUST be registered to receive the link.

Where do we park for the Education Expo?

It is HIGHLY recommended to park at the Mickey & Friends or Pixar Pals Parking Structure for $35. It is a short walk over a bridge to the Disneyland Hotel. You are welcome to drop off your family at the Disneyland Hotel and park the car from there. 

HOTEL RATES:

Self-Park: $40 per vehicle for the first hour plus $10 for each additional hour, with a maximum rate of $80

Hotel Valet: $70 per vehicle

The Education Expo is FREE!! You just have to pay for parking.

Does EADDL have sponsorships or funding for the event?

We (EADDL) do not have sponsorship or funding to bring people out to come to the event. A few of the non profit support groups we work closely with raise funds and will have applications for trips to be awarded (you have to fit certain criteria). This info will be posted as we receive it and all inquiries will be directed at them.

Are there any sponsors for the event for out of state epilepsy patients?

At this moment there are not. You are welcome to start your own fund raising (like gofundme.com).
You can also check back on the event website and Facebook page should opportunities arise.

What is the event Facebook link?
When does the schedule of the Expo come out?

We will post the schedule as soon as we put it together, but the final one will be ready about 2 weeks before the event. 

Do we have to go to the Expo and the park?

No. You are welcome to participate as much or as little as you’d like.
*The more you participate, the more you’ll learn!

Is it free to go to Disneyland?

No, you still have to purchase a ticket to go to the Parks. All Disneyland Ticket information will be available after July. Be sure to register to get the email once it is available.

Where can I pick up my Participation Pack?

All Participation Packs will be available for pick up at the Expo. Please bring a print out of your confirmation for quick processing.

Do we have to register for the Expo?

Yes! Anyone coming into the Expo must be registered.

If I register online for expo, do I get participation bags/shirt for free?

No, bags/shirts are available for donation. All the info on participation bags can be seen in the Event Info tab. We are a non-profit, so we are not “making money” off this!

If I buy more than one ticket do we get a discount? As well I would like some more info when staying on the Disneyland Hotel. Do we first have to make a donation in order to have a discount on the tickets?

You can buy 1 or 100, the discount is the same.
That is all the information we offer. If you have hotel questions, please contact them directly. There is no donation required for ticket purchase, only for T-shirt/Swag Bag.

Do you have grants for families to come?

Sofie’s Journey/EAD does not offer grants, but some very special nonprofits do.
